I spent 6 years fighting insecurities about how I conveyed my thoughts, the tone of my voice, and how I was perceived.
One day, I decided that I was no longer going to shrink behind what I had the power to change. I began to get intentional about using my voice and how I communicated with others.
Today, I speak in front of thousands of people each year- proudly with very little nervousness and a bold courage that still surprises me.
In 2024, I founded Vocal Value, a boutique training and development firm that delivers coaching, workshops, and digital learning programs to help emerging organizational leaders grow their communication competence, clarity, and confidence.
I have been honored with various awards, including: Excellence in Education; Youth Speaker of the Year; 40 under 40 in Education; Education Book of the Year; Alumni of the Year; Leading Women of the Year; and Dominating Entrepreneur of the Year.
With more than a decade of experience across government, corporate, and academic sectors, I have trained over 10,000 professionals, including leaders within the United States Army, National Institutes of Health, the National Society of Black Engineers, and more than 50 colleges and professional associations nationwide.
Let’s partner to build your communication confidence and grow the everyday skill that also happens to be Americans’ #1 fear.
